Exosym Dynamic Leg Brace

While we do NOT offer the Exosym here at Crary Shoes, we have had the pleasure of handcrafting custom shoes for many individuals fortunate enough to be the recipients of this life changing device.

This device was originally designed to help wounded soldiers get back to better mobility, but since its inception it has helped people with many cerebral palsy, severe injuries, bone disorders and much more.

While this brace is quite amazing in its functionality, it does pose some difficulty fitting into over the counter shoes. Due to the width and 2cm heel height needed, even wide off the shelf shoes are often not optimal and it’s even more difficult to find shoes that are dressy or business appropriate.

What will my insurance cover?

Most insurance companies will NOT cover custom molded shoes, however we do work with worker’s compensation injuries and we are a participating provider for the Veteran’s Administration.
